Matt, do you think these fish were caught in the Bay or outside the pass? If I had to guess I'd say the well heads west of Dry Reef, in the bay, on live mullet....just a guess though

I'm starting to hit the bay regularly because its a convenient drive. I'm noticing the water is clearing this week. hopefully we don't get too many hard rains.

Heard he ran west out the pass and up the Calcashieu Ship Channel and caught these behind the weirs kidding, but thats a nice catch wherever he caught em. Would make a heck of a stringer mount

I'd be lying to say for sure, he told me reefs then wellheads, then laughed and said couple more weeks I'll put you on them. I couldn't fish any tournaments with him this year so I'm out of the loop. One thing I can bet is there was live bait but doubt mullets.

Never fished weeks bay itself but bayous off shark bayou have been good in years passed, haven't tried in a long time, but some location canals north of intercostal are year round bass fisheries. They aren't big but fun.
