I ordered this boat in February 2011 from ShearWater. It is a rare boat with a Solid Black Hull and 300 Pro Verado. It has been a great boat with a great motor. By far the quietest, smoothest, and overall best outboard I have ever experienced, I have not had a single issue. The Talon, Garmin, Stereo system, and trolling motor and charging system were all installed by my dealer, and all function perfectly. The stereo is very loud. Boat will run 70 light with the factory 3 blade Tempest. The x2200 is ShearWater’s hybrid being a combination between a flats and bay boat with huge fishable front and rear decks and wide gunnels with a bay boat center console and leaning post. These are very solid unsinkable foam filled and Kevlar lined boats.

The boat has been stored inside a fully enclosed metal building since the day I got it, always out of the sun and weather.
