104 ducks!!!
My son and I had the chance to work with a DU biologist and a LWF biologist this weekend and we netted 104 ducks...... Banded 102 wooducks and one blue wing......released one Woodie hen that was blind in one eye. What an experience to say the least!!IMG_1131.JPG IMG_1120.JPG IMG_1116.jpg IMG_1125.JPG IMG_1118.jpg |

we have an abundance of woodies on our lease and the biologist have been trying for a couple seasons now.....it just worked out that we were there.
we sat in the blind before daylight and watched literally hundreds of woodies and whistlers drop in.....it was incredible |

they anchor it down on one side and fold it accordingly then attach weighted pipes and "cannon" them over the ducks as they feed....
