Default GI Report

Just got back from a few days on the island for my birthday. Caught a few reds and a variety of other fish. The island looks good. We stayed at a camp on the beach at bridgeside. That was the only place the burrito levee washed out. It allowed a lot of sand to come in but they have it almost cleared out. Strange not seeing a levee there anymore. Not many people except for a few for the Redfish Rodeo which was rescheduled from Labor Day. State park beach is now really wide. Saw some guys walking all the way to the rock jetties in knee-deep water to fish. Crab pier and fishing pier at state park are closed for repairs. Elmer's will be closed a while also for cleanup.
