Default Best place to stay @ Toledo Bend ???

I am looking for a nice weekend rental at Toledo... We have stayed at a couple of different "resorts" and campgrounds, but are still looking for "the place" ...

Boat dock, launch facilites, etc. required... South to mid lake preferred, LA or TX is fine.

Any suggestions would be appreciated ...

Thanks,
Hydro

Wild wood is a little north. But it is a nice place. I prefer San Miguel because of their cover boat dock and fish cleaning facility. Also cheaper than wildwood.

I always enjoy the cabins at south toledo bend state park. They just added boat slips near the cabins where you can tie your boat up right there.

If you go to the website, VRBO, click on louisiana, then toledo bend, there are a LOT of rentals to choose from. We've stayed in some from on that site and really enjoyed it.
