Cheers Dularge Trout Slam 10-26-12

Brennan Bernard, Jake Broussard, Madison Broussard, and Harold Fontenot joined me today for a incredible day slaying the trout. We left out of the Reel Inn Lodge at safe light as the fog this morning was thick. Our first stop found hungry trout busting shrimp 360 degrees around the big Bluewave. Everyone in the boat was hooked up slinging in fish. Incredible sight to see when the shrimp are skipping the surface and the trout are jumping out the water chasing them. Once the fog cleared the bite actually slowed down, but the majority of damage was already done!!! We went check a few more areas with not much luck. Our last stop found some 16-18 inch trout coming in two at a time on the double rigged Matrix Shad Tiger Baits and TTF KFMS. Everyone had a blast especially 7 yr old Madison!!! Big thanks to Capt Chris Venable for running the second boat with Rene Esneault and crew. Capt Chris's crew also Whacked the trout good today, everyone had a blast. Thanks guys for another great day down in Dularge.

Great teamwork today Capt Chris V, Capt Travis M, Capt Tommy P, really makes for better results with good communication. Thanks again guys.
