Sunday 9-20-09 trip

[2ndamendment]

The wife and I made a fishing trip today with Spot-remover and his wife. We started at one of Spot-remover spots at the South/West end of big lake. Boated numerous specs and a few reds as the tide was going out, then the action died down. My wife lost a nice red right at the boat. The red spit the hook. I got blamed for it. Then a school of shrimp passed through and the bite was on once again. Boated 8 to 10 more specs as the school passed. The bite died down again. Left there and went into West cove but the water did not look all that great. Headed to LNG to finish out the trip. Caught several more specs. Watched Spot-remover boat a very nice spec in the 7 to 8 pound range. We closed out the trip with 27 specs and 3 reds in the box.
