yes it sucks... more rice than meat..and has that red grease in it...and the rice is kinda mushy...not impressed at all...prob good for a back yard boudin making but not to make a business around... I have tried the new Billy's store in Scott...excellent boudin...and is #2 on my list of favorites.... #1 is Don's in Scott!!! |

Best Smoked boudin @ Market Basket, Nelson rd. Best cracklins, B&O on Old Spanish Trail. Tried Best Stop, they #2 to me.

Billy's in Scott has my vote. Best Stop and Dons are taking a hit since Billy's opened up.

I'm pretty sure all two or three places in Lake Charles were named already so I was just expressing my opinion along with everybody else

The Mowater Store had some good boudin. I didn't see anyone mention that spot. I haven't been there in a long time. I guess its still open. Anyone else been there.
But the best stop is my favorite. The smoked boudin is what I like. |

I like Sonnier's. Market Basket on nelson isn't near as good since he left.
