Default Tough and Slick

decided to buy my duck stamp for the first time ever to go try and sneak up on some wood ducks in one of the areas that i deer hunt, well them lil things are slick to someone sneaking up on them, woods were thick where they were and couldn't get on them and they knew which way to fly to keep away from my steel shot, snuck up on a spot where i thought one landed and waited then had two land in front of me, i tried to double them up but nope the second one flew away, took two shots to stop this one from moving

Default yes

yeah i am no duck hunter and it is on federal land so setting up a blind is out of the question, but i can go hide in some natural cover that is there around the little ponds,

you think i should set up there in the dark before sunrise or what??????

Best strategy for wood ducks is go one morning and scout to see where they're flying and where they're going. Then next morning go get in that spot. Shoot straight cause it doesn't last long.
