Just trying to educate the man. So what your saying is to let a lady bring a knife to a gunfight. C'mon man. You cannot compensate for training and proper selection.
Sorry for not being in y'all clique. |

Kibb, I know all the stats about small calibers and I'm sure you weren't trying to be mean but I really don't need to "be educated" as you put it. I have been hunting and owning weapons for 40+ years. I just wanted some info on a good auto .22. I have my CCL and have quite a few large caliber autos. Please let's get back to my original question. What's a good .22 auto?

Sure didn't know all that info. I have never met you and I can't tell what you know by reading your original post.

I actually have a S&W 9mm that is easy enought for me to conceal. However, I am not a petite female.

pretty much have to leave the c.c off of the statement completely now. Just say,"what is a nice lil compact sweet shooting 22"? And dont dare tell anyone what your planning on using it for. WOW

I wouldn't trust a rimfire weapon with personal protection but the Walther P22 is a decent little gun.

If not purchasing a .22lr, may I suggest the Ruger LCR .38 or something similiar. Small and lightweight, and reduces the chance of FTF or jams. It is hammerless so it doesn't get caught up or snag on something when trying to retieve. Recoil is very manageble and conceals real easy. |
