Default Cocodrie 1/26-1/27

Went to a friend's camp this weekend for a little work and a little fishing.
Had to gather material Saturday morning so didn't get on the water until around 9:30. Undortunately the tide stopped moving around 9:00.

The tide started coming in around 11:00 and we got on a trout bite with a few nice reds mixed in.
Had a lot of throw backs. Ended with around 16.
Fished with cocahoes under a cork.
Stayed in the marsh the entire time.

Tried again this morning but the wind chased us off the water around 10:00 with only one trout.

Water was very nice yesterday but a little murky this morning.

Thanks Brad. I hadnt been on the water much lately. Got married myself in November and work has been crazy. I was keeping up with your duck hunting reports though it looks like you slaughtered them.

Yes, still drifting. I have decided to roll with this setup for now and save the money I that a TM would cost for a downpayment on a new boat in the next couple of years.

I have stayed in touch with a lot of the Ovey Comeaux grads. T-jean was with me this weekend and we were at Brock's camp.

Congratulations on getting married in April. I will definitely make a trip while y'all are out there. That sounds like a sweet bachelor party!!!
