Default Cypremort Point report

Went Sunday to run the boat. Went to the Hammocks, Trash Pile, and Shark Bayou. Only caught one and it was a catfish. Rain from a while back must still be affecting it. Hopefully it picks back up soon.

Seasonalfisherman, I'm afraid the specks are gone until next summer. Butte Larose needs to be 10 feet and falling, it's 13.2 feet today and will rise throughout spring snow thaw. Salinity on the C.P. guage per NOAA is 2.5 ppt today. Fresh water spawn is here for Crappie, or a run to Big Lake is about all there is. Jugging for catfish is also pretty good for the next few months.

x2.... better off trying other places cux cypermoint point had the sign up saying closed out for the spring due to high water since last month due to all that fresh water draining into the bay. so better off trying to fish in other places....

Hey, can you give me the site for that NOAA salinity guage for Vermilion Bay? Thanks.
