Default Prien and Lake Charles (9-30-09)

Me and the old man went out and wet a line today, man we had a blast! Ended up with 5 specks 6 sandies and the biggest flounder of my short salt water fishing career. We got on a butch of reds, nothing big enough to keep. Lots of the lightest colored drum I've ever seen. they did have some size to them, you could hear my 70 year old dad from across the lake. He said he's ready to go fight em' some more. Everything was caught on Gulp shrimp, from 12 to 15 foot of water, retrieved really slow.

I too converted my old man from freshwater to saltwater. The first time we went out I was telling him that as soon as he hooked into one of those hogs he would put his freshwater tackle aside. I was right he is now always bugging me to take him back. Those flounder are a great catch man they are some good eating.
