Default Death in the Gulf?

One of my Soldiers lost a brother in an oil rig explosion about 2-3 days ago. I was informed it was in the gulf. Anybody heard about it or know any details? The guys last name was Duval.

Thanks.

I know it happened on a rig and was told the it was in the Gulf. I sent flowers to the family - the service is today. I wonder if it could have happened in a Foreign country instead. I was also told it was an explosion, but it could have just been an accident.

First and foremost im very sorry to hear about this. I'm with W. on this one, I just made it in yesterday. We get safety grams daily for all incidents in the gulf. I haven't heard of any fatalities. Maybe overseas? Either way is sad to hear about the loss of an oilfield brother.

Any time you hear about any oilfield issues in the GOM, look at the Times Picayune(nola.com) or the Houston Chronicle energy section, (http://fuelfix.com/) and click on the accidents tab.
