Cypremore Pt. - Cove - 3/30 Report
I was using pearl/chart tail Vudu shrimp. He was using the same colors but cocahoe. I lent him a vudu to use since the fish were really blowing up on it. But the winds picked up very quickly and we were forced to move to the protected waters in the marsh. No luck in there (shark bayou) The trout were definitely there and they were mostly fatties... Will be returning sooner than later! |

WOW!! that is awesome. I see there was a little jump in salinity at the Point gage. That's good news for sure.

Great report and pics! Nice to see specks coming in from the bay. Montauk is right; them specks never left the bay. I really believe those fish stay in there year round....just MHO.
Did you catch these fish under a cork/w the vudu or just casting out with a slow retrieve? |

I used the vudu under a popping cork, about 12"-14" below the cork.
Shark bayou water level was very very high. |
