Default Kids 4 Wheeler

Does anybody have a kids 4 Wheeler? I'm thinking about buying a few and was wondering if anybody has one of the knock off brands. Have you had any trouble with them?

Thanks.

From what I've seen and heard, they are very poor construction.

I have a good friend that bought one for his daughter. The clutch went out a couple of weeks after he got it and, could not find parts to repair it.

Someone else may have a success story with them but, I don't know of any personally.

I have one and have no problems with it. But it's for a girl(my daughter). So it hasn't even seen mud and prob only ridden 5-6 times. I know one guy that's always having problems with his but its for his boys and they are hard on it.

I bought one back in 09 for my daughter. It wasn't even broke in when I sold a couple of yrs back and it had several issues. I wouldn't recommend one.

I looked at all of them and bought an Eton. Paid $2100 for a 90 but it is a great bike.

Bought two from that place in Rayne as Christmas presents a few years back. Within 20 minutes on a cold Christmas morning I had tool box out for both of them. Manifold fell completly off of one, and battery fell out of the second one, and that is in the yard. It was the 90cc knockoff brand (SunL brand I think). They just went downhill from there and are now in a junk pile of scrap metal. Should have spent the money for one good ATV and have since learned!!

Spend the money and get a Honda TRX90, Kawasaki KFX 90..... something along those lines. Yamaha makes good one too. It's worth the extra money

Had one of the knock offs years ago. Run don't walk away from them! Complete crap. I then bought a 125 Yamaha and it is Awesome! Great bike and I highly recommend it. Only thing is they outgrow them so fast. If your kids can handle a bigger bike I would recommend getting a 250 they will grow into it.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I was strongly considering two of them, but now I will have to go back to the drawing board.

IMO it depends on the application. In my situation I knew my daughter wouldn't ride it a whole lot and that she wouldn't dog it. $600 vs $2000 is worth it. Now if I was buying a bike for a 7 year old version of MYSELF, I would go with a Honda or Polaris 90cc/110cc cause I would have torn that Chinese bike up in about 30 minutes.

If its just for around the house get them some go carts. Northern tool sells the frames and kit for fairly cheap. Throw a 7 horse harbor freight engine on for 100 bucks and you have a good cart.

My son had one of them. Trash. He is a diesel mechanic and was always working on it.

I have had several requests about the Eton 4 wheeler that needs a new home.
At present, Meathauler has first choice and if he doesn't buy, I will go in order of pm received. Thanks
