Wonder if Prien will hold after this N wind passes through... I am ready to hit some trout there.

No reason for it not to. We haven't had any real rain in a little while.

Good Luck

supposed to be getting some over the next few days... doubt its enough to matter but hackberry salinity looks reciprocal to this one. it dropped and prien rose... soo will prien drop once hackberry begins to rise? Prien typically stays 8-10 pts below hackberry this time of year.

Water is still dirty and there is still plenty of salvinia around but it should start getting better. I was catching a few trout in 0-3 salinity before that last bad batch of rain. The water is getting better though. I was gonna make a trip today but I don't wanna roll my dice with this weather coming.

Default Prien Salinity

Corpse of Eng have had the navigation gate open at saltwater for last 2 weeks, even tho kinder water level has been low, just in last couple of days have they closed gate, I think thats the reason for spike, I am sure little rain will have it open again, looks like they are trying to get rid of all the GS and send it south

That stuff was pretty thick around I-10 the other day in Lake Charles, saw a rip line of salvinia from the bridge and the shallow stuff to the north was full of it

Last August, I was on theC. river and there was a lot of Salvinia in the river. I was going to go up the West Fork, but it was covered solid for 200+ yards.

It was real spotty, so it may not be too bad. But in Carlyss, we got a frog strangler.
