Default Do I need an new bushing

I hit something under the GI bridge this weekend and when I went to take off again all I could do is idle. When I gave it gas the motor would just rev up. When I got home yesterday I pulled the prop off I found this. Glad it happened less than a mile from the ramp.
I did not know the new style bushings just slip in. I bought an extra one to keep in the boat.

Im not a big fan on the newer sytle plastic hubs....the only good thing about them is you can change them on the water.
