Default Fresh Eggs and Smoked Sausage Breakfast

I have a few errands to run today and since the hens laid some fresh eggs early this morning I decided to have a little breakfast. I turned on the gas grill outside and tossed a few links of smoked sausage on to grill. I went back inside and got some grits going to go along with the eggs and sausage. Why not?
Sausage on the grill and smelling great early in the morning. Reminds me of camping.

Eggs sunnyside up done!

Plated with some cheesy grits.

Something was missing in that last picture. I had some French bread left from the other night so I toasted up some and slice it lengthwise to better dip into the egg yolks.
This is much better!

Mmmm.... delicious warm and rich egg yolk.

I had a couple of Yard eggs for breakface.

I got some more eggs from my brother this week. My wife does not like the "look" of the yokes and I tell her the dark color just gives them more flavor.

My brother got into raising chickens a few years back. He does it all.....hatching eggs, raising them and selling eggs and chickens.

While watching 20+ young [~6 weeks old ?] chickens running around, He was telling me this batch only had a few hens and mostly roosters. He said that he had another "batch" of eggs in the incubator and hoped to get more hens this time.
