FYI U can get a bottle of red, blue, and yellow acrylic paint in the crafts section and mix every color yourself, use a bit of white or black also (about 5-6$). A 4$ can of matte clear (not flat, you want matte so they have enough sheen to look realistic). If you aren't familiar mixing up colors then look at a color wheel online and it will help you mix the colors you want.
I use the matte clear and the decoys don't look dry and one dimensional, the extra sheen gives them a look as if the duck just came out the water...its not a shiny look. |

i use the dollar spraypaint at walmart. flat black. i use the dollar gloss white on the beaks, and spray several across the back to look like blackjacks.
you can also spray the cheap clear gloss on old decoys and it will bring back the color and not be too shiney. i do this to 100-150 decoys every year, it's as cheap as i know how, and it kills ducks. good luck. |

I hope that's a joke, decoys don't need to be perfect.
If they are close enough to see imperfections they need to get whacked. I used decoys half covered in mud this past season and didn't have any problems getting my limits. |

We've used milk jugs and 2 liters before black and white paint is all you need. They all look like dark dots on the water from the air and that's enough for them to come take a look then you bag em brotha
