Cheers Trout Slam busting up the shrimp

Chip Buskirk, David Lirrette, Damon Cockran, and Kirk Larson from Wisconsin joined me today. Looked like we were going to bust the trout early this morning as we found the shrimp flying out the water at our first stop. The trout were chasing the shrimp everywhere but most of the fish were undersized. We made a move but only found one fish, not looking too good with only 20 fish iced down in the K2. Off we went continuing to hunt the elusive speckled trout and low and behold it was game on. It was like a switch was turned on and it was every-cast all around the boat !! Everyone in the boat was reeling in specks one after another. It didn't take that long to fill up the K2 as the trout were almost jumping in the boat to cool off in the chest!! Double rigged Matrix Shad does it again as we caught on Avocado, Tiger, and Green Hornet colors. No other baits needed but Matrix Shad. Good as it gets down In Dularge!! Thanks guys for another great trip.
Big thanks to Capt Travis Miller for running the second boat with John Murray and family.

Give us a call as we have the finest lodging on the bayou sleeping 20 guest. Two chefs available and 14 boats.
