Hello guys ......I moved here from Anaheim, Ca about a year ago. I used to fish weekly, but it's been all work and no play since I moved here. I like to introduce myself. My name is John and I would like to say,"great fishing forum here."

Welcome, I grew up in BR but live in Houston now. You are just over two hours away from grand isle and big lake which offer some good fishing opportunities for you. Of course lake P is really close but it takes a little more skill and luck over there. What brought you to redstick?

Welcome!
Just like CKinchen, I also grew up in BR and now live in Houston. What he said is correct. Also some great freshwater opportunities w/ Old River, Atchafalaya Spillway, False River, Manchac area, Lake Verrett within an hour drive.
