I recognize that crooked dock anywhere. Da Point. The Whaler is a great boat to have, I have taken my 17' Striper everywhere out there, I as long as I had fuel, I would make the run. Nice set up.

Yes indeed, great little boat, cool story behind it, my dad bought this boat brand new in 88' and owned it until I was about 13 years old, he sold it to my best friends dad and he had it for about 15 yrs and barely used it. I ended up buying it from him for next to nothing, rebuilt the carbs, cleaned the fuel tank and replaced fuel lines and that johnson 60 has been singing ever since. Gives me no problems. Rides through that terrible vermillion bay chop very well for such a small boat.

2012 Blackjack with Yamaha F300. With trim and jackplate buried, it runs what it turns. Cruise 3300 RPM @ 40 mph burning 8 GPH. WOT = 6100@ 69-71 MPH (don't do it very often).

That's a days trip worth of gear and two people. Didn't expect it to be that good. I'll try to get a picture of the gauges next time I'm out.
