Default anybody have fiberglass knowledge

Im about tp redo the front deck in my boat. The original deck was just sealed underneath with resin then mat on top of the plywood. How many layers do I need? Its gonna see alot of abuse seeing as its the front deck. Im thinking a layer of cloth, mat, then cloth again just not sure on the oz of cloth and mat I need.
