Fishing waders and hunting wader are not created equally. I would suggest having two separate pair. Cabelas will warranty just about anything that you can do to a pair of waders hunting. If you spend the extra cash now you will not have to worry about buying a new pair every season. As for fishing waders they are geared more towards comfort rather than ruggedness. The best bang for the buck I have found are the orvis silver sonic waders. Pair them with a good pair of flats boots and you can wade all day with ease.

Wading boots
Anywhere in LC carry the wading boots?? Mine are shot and Hodgman no longer makes the style i have been using for the last 10 yrs or so. Neither Academy, D I C K 's, or Lafayette shooters carry them anymore. I guess stocking foots are not as popular anymore?? And Ditto on the Cabela's waders. Bought a pair year before last and am completely satisfied with them.

That's why we need to road trip ftu, so you can try on the boots with the guide series waders. Mines drains gurd.
