I would hire out for a 30x30 slab forming it will not be bad but I wouldn't want to finish that. You can figure about $2.50 a square foot for concrete and labor to pour a basic 4" slab. Sand will be extra and I heavily suggest a vapor barrier so the slab doesn't sweat.

That is good to know I am about to get a pad put in for an outdoor patio, preparing for the eventually outdoor kitchen.
