Cheers Speckled Trout Fever? 2-10-14

Greg Wilwert, Greg Mihm, and Elen Mihn from Wisconsin joined me for a incredible trout slam. Easy as it gets today, as the yellow mouths were eating up our Matrix Shad like they were going out of style!!!! I can say the trout made it through the cold temps unscathed! We left out of the Reel Inn after day break and found the hungry yellow mouths holding in 3 ft of water over the flats. They wanted a slow steady presentation and would thump the bait. The fish were hungry as most had the Matrix all the way down their throats. Green Hornet was the top producer today. We left the fish biting and made it back to the lodge for noon to clean fish. The pelicans were sure happy to see us and boy did they have a feast on all the trout!!! Good times with these guys from Wisconsin!!! Thanks again for a incredible day.
