The fear of God has kept me from doing some things I would have regretted. The fear of my wife hasn't hurt either.
I would not denigrate either the fear of the divine nor the fear of human authorities. If character is what people do when no one is looking, it helps some of us to know that God is always looking.

To put this thread back in topic..... Those kids have no right to hit balls at your mothers car or break the glass in her lamp (if they actually did it), despite the fact her yard is less than aesthetically desirable. How old are these kids anyways? And the fact that the father got aggressive (per your description) at the fact that you brought his children's criminal behavior to his attention, only proves that he is a useless POS. If all the facts you claim are indeed facts, then don't second guess yourself on calling the cops on him in front of his children. 9 out of 10 they will replicate their fathers behavior and become useless POS's as well. Maybe this is what they need to at knock at least one of those little bastards on the right track. If not, then so be it. Call the police every time they break the law. So relax already. Quit threatening lawsuits, unignore the people you ignored over this (it's the Internet man... It's all a f'n joke), crack open a cold wobbly pop, and make a pot or 2.......... And I miss your bull red reports, so get your @$$ back in the water!

As far as the guy next door ....... I asked the kids to get there parents.the guy came out and began throwing his arms up and presenting himself in a manor like he wanted to be hostil . I proceeded to tell him the kids were hitting baseballs twards my moms car.that is when I was told the car had not moved for a while.so I said what does that matter and then I was told my moms yard looked bad. Now as fare as the yard goes there were two 40-50 foot 80 year old magnolia trees that were just cut down. The trees coverd the house. We also just had the stumps ground. So there are chips everyware. It ant purity. Also add to that the land scampering getting burnt by the sun due to no shade anymore. Now keep in mind this happend the week before Easter. To me the guy was looking for an excuse for the kids aiming for the car. And I say aiming cuz they had to crawl under the car to get the ball.
Now to me the car not moveing and the bug wood chip sections with no grass etc are no excuse to damage moms property. Either the guy is truly evil or ther is something real ring with him. So I called the cops. I felt bad doing that in front of his kids but the bowed up display he put on and reasoning behind it being ok to do what the kids did outweighed any other route . Granted mom has a trailor and I have a boat but what is wrong with parking them in the front yard. There is no acess to the back yard. This is an 80 year old house not new not special but it is moms and was her mothers. So why put me down and ridicule me about the house and our belongings instead of I'm sorry for what my kids did. I got nothing but hurtful yelling and put downs. Put downs not unlike what I'm getting here. The next day I found the lamp glass broken. I'm not saying they did it god I hope they did not. I just find it peculiar that a pain of glass tilted outward is broke inward with no glass on the ground. I don't know if a lamps glass can implode due to heat or something else. I never accused them of doing it but it shore seems someone did. Next I am put down for spelling etc. and that I am positive has nothing to do with the topic. Then there are others that seem to be upset ther are things in the yard and assume thgrass is not cut. LOL I just don't get it. It's like people here look for a single point they can harp on and go way over board in an attempt to either upset , hurt , or other wise distort the topic. And then we come to the ?..?? Lady???q.... Who posted porn pics. Or any of off topic pics .....like I'm on a far or the drugs and guns etc that are off topic. I real sorry I started this thread it is now depressing. And well I don't think I did wrong but I do feel bad I had to do it. It was for the kids as I worry for there future. As fare as the car goes ....I don't have money right now so mom had to shell out 120 $ for a new batt. The old one would not keep a charge. And I put it in and added 5 gal of gass and worked out the fule pump is bad. That explains why I had to push it 4 blocks the day it died. So now she has to she'll out 200 + to please the nabors. Ya right just makes me sad and depresses me more as I used to be able to work and make 10 k in two weeks. Now I can only sit here watching as her life is harder at 70 years old and ther is nothing I can do. All due to a neighbor that sucks. Ok well that is my view what would you do if that happend to you and you were in my position. Or do you have a nother way that would stop the distructive activity and berating words . Just keep in mind I would do what ever I can to stop it. And the rout I took was call the cops. Am I missing something were do I put moms trailor and her kiln or my boat. We nothing else. No place to stor thingsq that big. And shoud she have to pay to store them to make an a hole happy? I just can't think of any other reasonable way to have handeld the situation. .?????.??.??.?.??....?.?.??.?...?.??.??.??.?.?.

Oh ya mom pointed out another thing ...
The car is for sale. And pepe has an offer in on it last month for 900 $ So you figure you want a car damaged while a guy is working on getting funds together to buy it.
