Default Group 27 AGM trolling motor battery

Optima's locally didn't have the same CCA's and AH's as my whipped out Big Momma that went TU this weekend after three years (not bad)...

Cabelas, Advanced Auto, Academy, and Bass Pro have their own lines (all made in China )

Trying to dump some poundage while upgrading the TM battery, going from lead acid to AGM ... Not seeing any Opti's that look up to the task ??? At least half the stroke of conventional lead acids , based on AH's ...

Real life experiences appreciated ... Sponsorship and loyalty to one brand or the other not needed ... Just looking for "this worked for me" comments ...

Minn Kota 55lb digital is what we are feeding here ...

Thanks,
Hydro

I upgraded to agms from batteries plus. I'm very happy with em. They also have a 5year free replacement warranty.

I stayed with 27s because I have trays in my console that they fit in. I can run the trolling motor all day and they will not even be at half charge when I plug em in in the afternoon. I have a 36v 101

Sams, O'reilys, and Advance only had the smaller blue top Opti's ... I am seeing some 27's online, which should do the trick ...
