Some People
It was minor damage to the other vehicle but its the point. Instead of getting an azz chewing from the boss the driver (hopefully) may loose his job because of hit and run. I say minor but It will prolly cost 2k to replace the rear bumper facia on that car. I found the owner and told her what happened. |

Did you give her a company name and, such? That stuff pisses me off! I've got one here right now for the same type of deal and, the repair is gonna cost over $900!

She can call their corporate group(company) and, they'll be able to track it down, I'm sure. Man, that stuff really does infuriate me!

People usually do that stuff when they can't piss clean, backing into something with a company truck isn't grounds for a chewing !

Smart Trucks
With the tech now available, you can tell if the truck was idled too long or if seatbelts are being worn, etc. So if you got the company and approx. location you have enough.

I would never post that on an internet forum or anywhere on the internet.

Was just saying if a guy worked for me and handled the situation the right way a chewing is more than likely what will happen. Stuff happens sometimes. A hit and run is termination without question. As you stated it would depend on the results of a DT. |

If I remember right. In a private parking lot you are responsible for your own damage. Had it happen to me. Cops can not even write a ticket only a report to give to your own insurance.

Police will not even show up in a private parking lot anymore unless there is an injury.

You are right in a circumstance where both parties remain on scene. Im not sure what happens in a hit and run situation. May be the same laws. idk.
