Gamakatsu's Live Bait Hooks.

SuperSpook Jr. sizes: 2/O on front, 1/O on rear. Front hook faces forward, back hook faces up. [actually, a 1/O on both front and back works just fine]

Mid sized plugs, like Skitterwalks, Top Dogs, etc... 3/O on front, 2/O on rear.

When a fish hits a topwater with a circle hook do you hookset any differently than a regular treble hook topwater?

Because circle hooks pretty much set themselves, as they were designed to do, I usually just start reeling in. I sometimes "set" the hook but that is more out of habit from years of doing so with conventional hooks.

This is THE single hook setup to use.
