Default Meatball kinda Day....... Smellin' Super Italian Here Too!!!

Well, I guess I kind of planned to feel like a "Feeling Like a Meatball Kinda Day" because I picked up the ingredients for it yesterday.
Lol......
You know me I HAVE to be a lil different. I decided to make mozzarella stuffed meatballs so.......
I grabbed a package of Mozzarella Pearls to stuff in my balls. I wanted to give ' em a lil more flavor so I seasoned up some parmesan cheese with some Little Italy N.Y.C from The Spic House.

Stuck those in the freezer so they are easy to stuff in the balls.

Time to grate some cheese for the meatballs

Heck, it's 10:00am and grating cheese makes me thirsty. Good thing I hade a bottle of wine in the fridge chilling. ;D
A nice Chardonnay from New Zealand.

57 balls and some of my Homemade Italian sausage going into the oven.

Oh yeah, I made a few extra meatballs to freeze for when I feel like a meatball poboy.
Meatballs are basically cooked. I'm cheating and using a sauce made by a fantastic Italian local restaurant. I need to go pick up some more because we are having my son and his girlfriend and daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter over later.

Smells absolutely fantastic in the whole house right now!!!!!!

It may be one Hell of a drive from Lafayette, but my offer to cut your grass in exchange for a meal still stands. Hell, I'll even take one of your sammiches!

I went and picked up two more jars of sauce and got it simmering with some of the meatballs, the Italian sausage and towards the end I ddropped in a half dozen boiled eggs just for the heck of it. My kids love boiled eggs in red gravy. Lol....

One of the meatballs with the mozzarella peeping out ant looking to escape.
These meatballs were delicious!!! Tender and flavorful.

I'm glad I made so many. I froze them on the sheet pans and bagged them for taking out only however many we need for poboys.
