Keep your copy handy just in case you get pulled over to avoid getting ticketed

it can take 3 months sometimes so as mentioned keep copies of your papers and if you haven't gotten it at 4 months call them because it might be lost in the system.

in most cases it wont do any good to call them sooner because they wont even look for it in the computer unless its been over 3 months since you sent it in because it takes that long to even get put into the computer.

I mailed in my registration on May 21st, and I just saw where they cashed my check on July 23rd. Don't know if the registration has arrived b/c I have been out of town and haven't checked the mail.

yes as long as you have your copy of the registration to use until the new one comes in, being past the timeline on the receipt doesn't matter, its just proof you did register it and that's all that matters.

game wardens are aware how long it takes to come in and even if they do give you a ticket (which is very rare if ever), it will be voided if you can show you did your part and the registration is in process. you won't get punished because they are slow to process it and send it to you
