yes i have hunted out of an island blind in a marsh...

How does an island blind in a rice field look "natural"?? so the second crop wont be cut? so will yall just flood the water as high as you can? i think i am missing something here..

He's not nearly the first one to do this. I've hunted out of island blinds on several different occasions. We had one when I was younger. Whether it sticks out or not the ducks don't seem to have a problem with it. And like Meaux said later in the season the ducks get levee shy and will only land in the middle of a cut. We have patches of Roseauxs(I guess) come up in the middle of our crawfish lakes and we kill ducks standing up in the middle of them. Same situation.
