looks good but I would add a safety chain to the anchor just in case.

sure, under normal conditions it "shouldn't" come loose or go anywhere and be held in place but better safe then sorry

and some majic eraser should remove those stained spots where the bars were

Star brite hull cleaner will take the stains off of that hull. You will have to wax it after though. If it was mine I'd bring it to a local sign shop that can do vinyl and have them remove the old stripes and replace them with something new. Or maybe do some sort of wrap. That would bad a** and change the whole look of that boat. I thing you got an excellent start there.

Hell yea man! I made a similar score with my boat. Picked her up for $2,000 and did a little upgrades here and there. After 4 years of faithful service I had a guy polish her up and sold her for twice what I paid. I got ragged for having an older boat that wasn't the prettiest, but the sucker always got me to where the fish were and back home. Enjoy the adventures she'll bring you on!

Cover it and don't leave in sun. It will stay in good shape if you keep it out the weather. My 10 yr old boat looks better than a buddy's 5 yr old boat that's been parked under an oak tree since a he got it.
