Question What size Rod?

What are the preferred rod size/ brand fishermen are using for fishing specks?
Using a 7' med/heavy now for grubs with 1/4 - 3/8 heads and bait caster.

6-5 or 6-6 big daddy custom rods in light and medium light. 1/16 jighead 99% of the time and the rest 1/8.

Go Med. power fast action for the marsh in 6'10 to 7'0 depending on how much open water fishing you do, this rod can do double duty. Guys to our west throw lighter jig heads in shallower water where med/light rods are a better choice.

6'6" st croix mojo bass "jerkbait" model. Good all around inshore rod. In my opinion, the best $100 rod there is

i like the medium action rods around 7' in length. Falcon makes some good rods for good prices. medium 7' bucoo with micro guides for around 120-140. Pretty nice rod.
