First pear pie......Grandkids got here from out of state finally ....We made us a pear pie...

Put the dollop of vanilla ice cream on that while it's still hot and tell me how good it is so I can slap my wife in the face for not making me one.

The lil dude already had his grandmaw get him some.....And it is great....He goes to a kids cooking school in Wi****a Kansas and I told him he gunna learn to cook real food here....

That makes for some great memories.... My Grandma Martin was in bad health when I was younger, she passed when I was 11 years old.

She couldn't do much outside but my fondest memories are of me helping her cook in the kitchen.... It was how we bonded. It's been 35 years since she passed but I can still remember her stories and laughter in the kitchen.

Just wished I had pictures of us cooking but I don't. Camera's were not as available as they are now. Take plenty of pics and cherish the times.
