been bustin it for weeks fishin the hell out of the bay with every bait, rig, spot, technique in my arsenal... I just left for a project and the salt comes back! wont be home until September, too late for the spec spawn, hopefully I can find a few reds when I get home.

good luck to everyone who will be enjoying the return of the salt... give em hell!!!

Don't worry. You'll be back just in time for the fall speck run inside the bay.

if I can fish... home for 5 days then on to next one. I only get 2 windows to fish every year. mid June - mid july and mid November - end of year.
no worries though.. I do enjoy winter fishing

I just feel bad for my poor boat!!!

I don't see how. The water in the river is real high right now. Good luck.

Southwest winds on west half of gulf is helping circulate more salt your way. V Bay has decent exchange as long as their is sufficient salt in the Gulf outside of it.
