Default Satellite Photos

I know there is an app or site that does daily flyovers of S. Louisiana where you can see where the good water is. Could someone please give me the name? Thanks.

I just looked at this link.

After zooming in at 250m you can get a fair view of the Louisiana coast.... but I can not really see how the water looks along the beach.

I tried setting my computer screen on 400%, but this still did not show if the water along the coast ... between the rock breakers and shore.... is clear or muddy.

Is there something I did not do on this web site to get a better view?

There is cloud cover over the area where the Cameron Jetties are located, in this view.

Only other thing u can do is look at previous days and compare. It's a good tool for big lake and vbay but not for beach clarity.

I used Modis for a long time. I think the one that NASA provides is even better. Take a look.

Ditto....same satellite data, it appears, but easier to zoom and navigate than MODIS in my experience

For Cameron its very wind dependent. Light winds from south or south east are best water clarity. Get much of a SW for a day then it's going look ugly.

that said, the fish are still there and have to eat. Use dark lures and lures with rattles. Yeah, it's no fun fishing in muddy water but if you get there and that's what the conditions turn to, then one just has to adjust and hunt them up.
