WEST WIND AND WEAK TIDES CONTRIBUTE TO ON AND OFF DAYS
The past week had its ups and downs when it came to catching. South to southwest winds most all of the week combined with weak tides forced some days to be a little tougher on the water. Most of the good catches or Redfish came from the Cameron jetties soaking live bait on the bottom. Cut mullet, cracked crab as well as live shrimp payed off with big tackle busting redfish. Most trout came from favorite holes from the super cut all the way to 4 corners along the ship channel. Light morning wind makes the morning bite the best. Here are some pictures from the last few days and you can see them all by clicking here: http://www.hackberryrodandgun.com/staticpages/index.php/new_gallery[
