I use mine everyday. I love it.
Did you link it with the opener by pressing the learn button on the opener and then pressing the door icon on your phone?

When you set a place in the app name it "garage door" then you have about three minutes to push the learn button on the opener.
Sorry for the double reply but it just came back to me.
