I have a hinomoto E230...It's the spin off of the Massey Furgeson 230.
Looking to fix the PTO on it. Was told it was a pin that's sheared, but not real familiar with tractors. pretty sure it would need to get split in half to be fixed.
The tractor isn't worth much, and it runs and drives around ok (when you can get it started), so it would be nice to get it fixed and try to acquire a bush hog for it. If it's an expensive fix though I may be better off just getting another tractor and leaving this one as a putt around the yard for moving trailers and such.
When I engage the PTO the shaft will spin, but you can grab it with your hand and it will stop spinning.
Any thoughts on a decent mechanic that is reasonable. Or if this is a simple fix I can attempt.
In the Crowley/Duson area, or new Iberia area.
thanks
