Default Terraces in Lake Ferman??

Anybody know what's going with the terraces going up in Lake Ferman in V-bay?? My father in law passed through it today and saw them.

They are digging a channel to get a barge into Tom bayou to do some work. Not sure if they are going to leave the mud piled up and plant grass or what. Be careful running through on high tide. Most of the mud was just under the surface last time I passed a couple o weeks ago. It follows where the old channel was coming from the state camp side.
