LOL one f these days we gonna hafta sit over a few cold ones and swap stories. or start a po folks thread and every one can pitch in. Mama usta make cracklin turnip stew a thick roux a hand full of cracklins from the big jar and a few cubed turnups.

I remember mamma making six sammich out of a can of potted meat....Now that rough...That when daddy was bed ridden , other than that there was plenty deer squirrel shrimp and fish...I never ate beef meat till I started going with my wife and her daddy was an outlaw too...We got along just fine...He tought me how to bulleye ducks...
