Gaiennie Lumber crew was back again today with another big group. We knew with the 25 plus mph winds fishing would be tough. The crew wanted trout, so with the conditions being so bad we loaded up with some live shrimp. The fish haven't been biting plastics very good when the winds are up and the water all stained. It didn't take long upon setting up, before the first trout broke the ice. We got on a good run of 16-18 inch fish at our first stop! When the bite shut down we made one other move and finished off all the shrimp. We tried with plastic and not a bite, so we packed it in and rolled back to the lodge. Thanks guys for another incredible trip.
Big thanks to Capt T Miller and Capt C Venable for running the two other boats with Gaiennie and putting them on the fish also. Thanks also to Capt R Dupont, Capt T Lovell, and Capt K Labat for taking care of the Inolect crew on day number two. They had a great time catching reds and bull reds.
