Just got a 000-000-0000 call!

It was a political call and this guy started reading off of his script.........I stopped him in mid-sentence and asked him.."what party is she representing?" and he told me to hang on a minute. He came back and said that I could visit her website to learn more that he really didn't know....He then said that he would mark me down as "undecided" and I said "hold on a minute!" If you can't tell me her party affiliation then you'd better not put me down as anything because you sir are a dumbarse...good day!....click!

Put them hold for a couple hours next time they call.....that way they can't call anyone else. I do it all the time, they not supposed to hang up on you.

when someone like that calls, i go through about 40 different accents talking to them about anything, hunting, fishing, muddin..... everything i can think of to see how long it takes them to leave me alone....

I just signed up on 'Louisiana Don't Call' program. It will eliminate telemarketers from bothering you . At their website it said it will take 30-90 days to be activated. ***?? Also when the jerks created the 'Don't Call Program' , they conveniently excluded POLITICAL CALLS. Go figure...

I tell them I would be happy to talk to them but it would cost them a $1 a minute, and then ask them for a credit card #, and there name......confuses the heck out of um........

My body shop just opened and the sales calls are ridiculous in numbers right now!!!! I started out telling them that wasn't interested and now tell them to remove me from their call list. I figure in about another year and a half, I should be removed from all of their call lists!
