I've hit trees in the middle of river, stumps and even a sheet of treated plywood that was made into a door. So far no major damage to boats. I did mess my ankle up pretty bad when I hit the plywood. It felt like by boat was tied to a tree and I reached the end of it. The next thing I knew I was in the front of the boat hurting so bad and scared I didn't know which way was up or down.
