I have the Hammerheads with green mirror lenses and I love them. All I mainly fish is marsh and inshore and they have worked great for me. They are going on 3 years old and just recently started having problems with the rubber nose piece. I'll probably buy another pair and then send these in to be fixed that way I always have a back up pair.

bronze or amber lenses are the way to go... my wife's costas have the amber lenses which are comparable to my bronze maui's... which is pretty impressive

green mirror is the best for fishing inshore murky water. It is the amber lens with a green mirror to reflect the sunlight. Just for pure fishing the amber or copper is good but for driving the mirror is helpful. The blue mirror is for fishing blue water.

been having mine for about 4 years now. I have the green mirror 580g and still don't have a scratch on them. I use them for mainly bass, but also inshore, I can usually spot fish before anyone else in the boat.

The cell phone screens and everything will be hard to see with any good polarized glasses.

Interesting fact for you all to try: Take two pairs of Costas and put the lenses against each other but have them at a 90 degree angle and try to look through the lense. You will not be able to see through them, which tells you that they are very well polarized. Cheap sunglasses when you do this, you can still see through them.

Thanks for all of the input. I think I'll be going with the green mirror 580g fantail.

Costas are my favorite! I tried out some fishing sunglasses from Oakley. They were free, but they just weren't dark enough. I'm with Costa all the way.

I am actually giving away a pair on my Facebook page. It's pinned to the top of the page.
