Always wanted to fish out of Venice. I'm sure I'll make it down there someday. I've got access to a 21' boat that I'd love to buddy along with ya but, I think I'm fishing Saturday with IsItOctoberYet so, two days in a row, my wife would likely be howling! LOL Plus, I'm not sure how well a 21' Skeeter bass boat would do out there.

LOL...nah I would go 20 miles out in your rig with the right weather. The nautic stars take the waves very well,I would not hesitate.

I have been going out of cocodrie in a 22' bay boat. About 10 miles passed last island.

I'm more down for this than for leaving out of Venice. That's a long haul and my truck ain't old reliable. I kind of like the idea of leaving from cocodrie,@ least I'm familiar with that area

Been out plenty of times in similar size boats, just remember this time of year it can get bad in the blink of an eye. Not trying to scare u but had a couple of scares myself .
