Not cleaning your gun is asking for trouble.

I do about the same. But about every 2 weeks or so I will break it down and give it a good cleaning. That marsh is a lot rougher on em than rice fields. I can tell when it needs it. Starts cycling a little slower. Super Vinci hung up on me once Saturday morning. I haven't cleaned it in a while. |

My SBE I was a jam master! Guaranteed to jam after a fresh cleaning, more lube, less it didn't matter. Shoot a box through it and it was good for about a case of shells then it needed another cleaning! On the other hand my SBE II and Super Vinci get a barrel swab about every 2 boxes and sum deep creep in the receiver after every hunt with a good whipe down! We hunt Venice marshes and mud flats ! I wear waters strictly because of my dogs, and the filth they bring in the boat. It's the only way to stay half azs clean. I wish my guns could wear waters cause after a mornings hunt some woud say I'm crazy for hunting with a $1500 gun in those situations, but its what gets the job done for me! I still have browning's and got rid of my berettas . They just didn't fit rite and needed more maint. To stay operating. Still very good guns though! Benelli keeps getting my coin$$$, not to mention there customer service is pretty damn good! They replace a butt and comb pad on my 5 yr old sbe II on my word that they were worn out! To each his own though.

I've been having my BPS for almost 15 years and have NEVER had any issues with it. It's time for me to get a new shotgun, I'll most likely be getting another BPS. |

I have a maxus and it is a good gun. Not great. I have to clean it with a non-teflon based oil so it doesn't jam....I have already had to send it back to the factory once. They did fix it and send back within two weeks, so that is good. I don't like to baby my guns though. As a matter of fact I prefer to mistreat them. In my experience a Maxus is nothing special.

yea but look how much it costs, it has to be the best thing ever. ah dont worry about the barrel, those are only for making the bb's go in one direction and thats no use since DU tames all the ducks and forces the weirs open to kill all the grass the grass.
